VoyeurCasa.com, the first website for Hispanic gawkers, will transmit the lives of four young Costa Rican women directly, 24 hours a day, reports Agencia EFE (July 11, 2000). The four young women, ages 18-23, will be under continuous surveillance by live cameras located in their bedrooms, closets, baths, showers, kitchens, patios and other living spaces. The web page was launched by the Entertainment Network, the Tampa-based company that turned VoyeurDorm.com into one of the most popular sites in the world by transmitting the actions of a group of Florida students round the clock. The four women receive a weekly stipend and free room and board in a 6,000-square-foot house in a suburb of San Jose. For a monthly charge of US$24.95, "voyeurs" will be able to observe the young women eating, sleeping, bathing and playing, and for an additional US$10 they can chat with them in English or in Spanish.
